Flederbach Jr, will discuss alternatives to ordinary Portland cement (OPC) at the upcoming Global Cement Environmental Conference and Exhibition on April 14-15 in Düsseldorf, Germany, a global forum on environmental impact abatement for the cement and lime industries. Mr. Flederbach’s presentation is entitled “Maximizing CO2
Reductions While Increasing Production and Improving Cement Quality”.
Mr. Flederbach, the Director of Strategic Accounts for AgCert’s industrial TurboGreen division in Mexico, has been working with multinational industrial clients for 17 years. His experience spans every aspect of emission reduction including carbon management, Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) carbon project development, renewable energy, air pollution control, climate change modeling, regulatory support, environmental permitting and compliance, environmental risk
assessments and expert testimony. Along with colleague and co-author Alfredo Nicastro, Mr. Flederbach leads TurboGreen’s cement sector.
